It is also to inspire new promoters, to step in and bring to our genre a new and much needed energy. If you’re familiar in any way with the Freestyle Music genre you might see it differently than I do. It’s very possible that you might see it as a sort of limited genre, if not all together, dead! But I’m here to not only try and convince you otherwise, but to prove to you, that the Freestyle music genre is still alive and kicking, and possibly even inspire you to consider becoming a part of this incredible music genre.
I myself have been a part of the Freestyle scene for well over twenty-five years. I’ve worked with the best of the best, and have experienced firsthand both its successes and its failures. Yes, I’m sure that there are many other genres that you can come up with that can be a lot more rewarding, and so can I, but what I am trying to get through to you with this book is, no matter what genre of music you yourself enjoy, if you want to break into the Promotions game, Freestyle might just be the best place to start.
